Audio-Video Corporation (AVC) has been a leader in audio visual integration since 1946. With offices in NYS and New England, AVC can provide a myriad of audio visual services and technical support throughout the Northeast.

Markertek successfully sells Clear-Com product lines to a variety of markets, such as Education, Corporate, Arenas & Event venues, and Houses of Worship to name a few. The training and continued support we enjoy from Clear-Com instills confidence in our team to lead with stable and reliable Clear-Com solutions that our customers depend on.

Back in 1986 in a one car garage in Woodstock, New York – Markertek was born as a custom cable and interface shop. At that time, the portable video and audio production industry was just getting started and Markertek was there to create one-of-a-kind solutions to a hungry market who needed them.

Call it savvy, call it being at the right place at the right time — Markertek delivered engineered solutions at fair prices and in record time to TV stations, recording studios, duplicators, corporations and universities. News of their unique services travelled far and wide and pretty soon their single-line phone and neighborhood garage had to go!

Fast forward—or better yet—skip a few tracks later, to the powerhouse that Markertek is today. 130,000 square feet of engineering, manufacturing and distribution services in upstate New York serve a worldwide market of over 30,000 customers per year. The Markertek catalog has become standard equipment on every film and video production set as evidenced by their diverse customer list. In fact, major university communication departments use the Markertek catalog as a textbook.

The Markertek philosophy from day one was: “if it did not exist — we will build it.” No other supplier in the industry has quite the same passion and sheer drive to put it all together quite like Markertek. As they say: “If you love unique, you’ll love Markertek!”

Clear-Com LQ has enabled us to bring our 20+ year old analog 2-wire com into the IP world and make it useful again. It also allows us to use analog 2-wire com with HelixNet and FreeSpeak II seamlessly, and do some very creative things with this technology. The continuous technology innovations the company delivers is one reason we are proud to be a Clear-Com Partner.

As with the rest of the USA, San Diego in the 1940s saw unprecedented growth and technological advancement. Meeting Services, Inc. (MSI) was born out of this newfound prosperity, providing audio and lighting equipment to local companies. Over the years, as San Diego’s industry and tourism expanded, MSI did as well, expertly designing and installing state of the art sound systems for the smallest corporate meetings to the largest conferences, conventions, trade shows, fundraisers, sporting events, artistic performances, and political speeches.

Over 70 years later, the MSI of today offers a complete line of event production, technological support, and equipment rental services, and continues to ensure the success, efficiency, and productivity of their clients’ special gatherings, large and small, around the block and around the world.

Clear-Com and Clair Brothers have a relationship that spans decades.  We were one of the first touring audio companies to utilize original Clear-Com products, and the durability of the Clear-Com product line has always served us well.

As our company has grown and changed, so too has Clear-Com.  What used to require an incredible amount of material to make a show happen, has been supplanted by an incredible amount of technology and experience for both companies.  The rugged enclosures from Clear-Com still exist, but what keeps bringing us back is the adaptation and expansion of their product line to meet the ever-advancing technology requirements of live production.

Like us, Clear-Com has widened their expertise to adroitly meet the needs of performance venues for permanent installations.  In systems we design and install, whether Audio, Video, Lighting, Control, or Automation/Rigging, Clear-Com is always our first choice, and with the variety of products Clear-Com offers it is always the best choice as well, regardless if the determining factor is cost, performance, features, or some combination of all three.

All of the advances Clear-Com has made with technology and networking are wonderful, but what is silently impressive, and so easily overlooked, is that Clear-Com products are more rugged than they have ever been, and that they fail less than they ever have.  No matter how the units are abused, what product line it is, or how complicated the system we are deploying is, I am always pleasantly surprised that the more we use Clear-Com, and the more units we field, there are still almost never any Clear-Com unit failures unless from wear and tear.

We have some very old installed systems going back decades, and though earmuffs will wear out on headsets—it is more likely that a cable inside a wall has decayed over time, rather than any Clear-Com unit exhibiting component failure.  We have seen buttons and knobs broken from years of use and abuse, but overall the unit functions fine on the inside.  We have seen awful things done to newer products like HelixNet, Eclipse, and FreeSpeak—and they have proven just as resilient.

When we need intercom that works, we use Clear-Com – it is that simple.
